Over the days, I've uncovered the identity of a few of my
unknown singers. That is only a small part of being claimed by them, I know, but it is a beginning. Listen to their songs.
...In the evenings, from the flowering tree:
Blackbird.
Willow warbler.
...In the morning, darting from branch to branch in the undergrowth, curious about two-legged kind and just out of fingertip reach:
Blue Tit.
For those moments of rushing beauty when I have been blessed by your songs, I thank you, Manitous, little mysteries.
